Grants are available for portable ultrasound machines, exam-delivery tables, OB-GYN delivery tools, neonatal resuscitation kits, sterilizers, incubators, radiant warmers, phototherapy devices, CPAP machines, operating room and laboratory equipment, diagnostic tools and patient beds

We deliver all new equipment, free to our partners, and have standardized on Lab Equipment from Human Diagnostics, anesthesia machines and CPAP devices from Diamedica Ltd. and ultrasound machines and vital signs monitors from EDAN.

Community Health Grants (GAP Grants)

We work with our partners to identify Gaps in their community health systems and provide GAP Grants to resolve the gap. Access, by expectant mothers, to maternity wards is a major issue - we provided grants for tri-motorcycle vehicles to transport expectant mothers to and from our partner's clinics or from our partner's clinics to a referral hospital if required.

Clinical Training and Assessment

We provide free training for nurse-midwives in critical skills like neonatal resuscitation, post-partum hemorrhage techniques and the assessment of newborns. Our curriculum is based on the widely accepted Helping Babies Survive and Helping Mothers Survive protocols from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
